Execution
\nWe provided a 6 meter rig of the Nemek 1130 type for this
\nthe project. A temporary embankment was established out on the river’s edge which
\nwe disposed of as our work area. This instead of having to do
\nthe job from a barge. There were both compression and tension piles, and in addition
\ninclined piles. Since we were working on an embankment, and there were going to be buckling stiffeners
\n273x8mm due to direct contact with sea\/brackish water, we chose
\nhere to drill down the knee braces. This is because the rough stone filling
\nwould have helped to destroy the pipes if we had tried to knock them down
\nin the traditional way. The casings that were drilled down were off
\nthe dimension 193mm. Steel cores of the dimensions \u00f8100mm and
\n\u00f8110mm, was mounted with a truck crane and shivered before we mounted
\nthe pile hats.<\/p>\n
Strict requirements were made for gentle drilling and the use of little air
\nconsider the terrain and the risk of slipping. This was planned carefully, and
