SL24 is one of many works going on at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>The work at the Sickla traffic area included the sealing of<\/p>\n<p>the soil\/moraine layer between UK piling and rock. The sheet pile wall&#8217;s total<\/p>\n<p>length was 270 metres.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Larger parts of the area consist of fill masses with varying<\/p>\n<p>power (0 to 3 meters). Under the embankment are mountains, the moors,<\/p>\n<p>dry crust clay and a maximum of 5 meters of clay. The moraine is silty and<\/p>\n<p>simultaneously contains stone and blocks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Problem statement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sealing of sheet piling against the underlying rock surface. The piles stayed<\/p>\n<p>installed after it was pre-drilled through pre-installed pipe on<\/p>\n<p>the pile and down 0.5 meters into the mountain. The height of the jet pile wall varied from<\/p>\n<p>0 to 3.5 meters depending on how deep the piling was rammed down.<\/p>\n<p>The requirements for density were 5&#215;10-9 m\/s. The C\/C distance between the piles was<\/p>\n<p>600mm. 450 piles were installed.
