Our history

In 2013, the harbor crane portfolio was spun off from Seabrokers Kran og Transport as a separate company. At that time, Seabrokers Crane andTransport was a significant player in the region until 2017 when the crane and transport division was sold, and we retained the harbor crane portfolio. It was then natural for us to change our name to Seabrokers Harbour Cranes.

Long-term rental of harbor cranes has been the backbone of our company ever since. Solid and loyal customers like ASCO Norge have contributed to the long-term stability of our operations.

To complement our presence in the ports with other equipment, we entered into an agreement with SANY to introduce their maritime portfolio in Norway. This allowed us to import equipment for sale and rental to ports and manufacturing companies in need of forklifts and reach stackers.

This collaboration evolved into an exclusive import partnership with the world’s third-largest manufacturer of heavy construction machinery. The equipment is divided into three main areas: cargo handling, construction machinery, and cranes.

Together with our trusted dealers throughout the country, we have achieved the goal of becoming a nationwide organization in this business area. Our aim is to succeed in providing you, as our customer, with a great experience with our machinery.

Since 2017, we have increased our portfolio within harbor cranes, while at the same time the company has increased its business within machine import, sales and maintenance. In addition to renting out harbor cranes, the company is the exclusive importer of SANY construction machinery, harbor equipment and cranes. We also make deliveries within barges, heavy lifting to sea and other marine-related construction activities.

In light of the company’s development and further plans, the company name changes from Seabrokers Havnekraner to Seabrokers Heavy Machinery.

Seabrokers Heavy Machinery consists of the same skilled people we have had with us for a number of years, and the company will supply the same harbor cranes, as well as a wide range of other machinery.
