Apache retains two Blue Ship PSVs

Both PSVs have been chartered for a firm period of one year, with a further one-year option available, in direct continuation of their current contracts. This will keep them occupied until at least February 2015 and November 2014 respectively.

Blue Fighter and Blue Prosper are PX121-design vessels, which were built by Ulstein Verft in Norway utilising the X-BOW hull feature. Blue Fighter was delivered in January 2012, with Blue Prosper following in September 2012. Blue Fighter traded the North Sea spot market briefly before commencing operations with Apache in February 2012, while Blue Prosper also traded the North Sea spot market for a short period before starting work for Apache in October 2012. Both vessels, which are operating under the management of Remøy Shipping AS, have worked exclusively for Apache since they commenced employment with the operator.
