Seabrokers Chartering offices in UK and Norway are extremely proud to announce our participation in a very special newbuild being built at Green Yard for OMV Petrom.

The cooperation between Green Yard, OMV Petrom and Seabrokers has been excellent and our shipbrokers from both Aberdeen, Stavanger and Fosnavaag offices have been heavily involved in developing this vessel which we will be very pleased to see delivered in 2026, when it will go to work for OMV Petrom on the Neptun Deep project in the Black Sea.

The vessel under construction will support an unmanned gas platform by serving as a base for maintenance technicians, providing a storage facility, performing light IMR operations on the field and transporting personnel and supplies. Further, the vessel will be an 89.5-meter-long multi-hull ship, equipped with a W2W (Walk to Work) gangway, an offshore crane, and accommodation for up to 90 individuals in single cabins.

“This is the result of a successful collaboration between our shipbroking teams in Norway and the UK, with a strong emphasis on innovation, quality, and tailoring effective solutions for our clients.  We thank our clients for allowing us to be a part of this newbuild project and our brokers on both sides of the North Sea for their continuous hard work” says Marit Cecilie Albretsen, Managing Director of the Seabrokers Chartering Group”.
