Through this acquisition, Jetgrunn’s specialized expertise and experience will be combined with Seabrokers’ broad specter of foundation services and large variety of machines and equipment..
– Many construction projects require a mix of foundation solutions. We can now offer this with even greater expertise and diversity. We are particularly proud to have Lars Hoksrud on our team. For several decades, he has been a pioneer in the development of jet piling and holds a high level of professional recognition. We will build upon this as we develop the company, providing even more construction projects with a solid foundation to grow,” said Ketil Solvik-Olsen, CEO of Seabrokers Fundamentering.
Seabrokers Fundamentering aim at being the preferred foundation partner in construction projects across the country. The company has become one of the major players in foundation work in Norway. Last year, the company strengthened its focus on energy wells through Seabrokers GeoEnergi. Additionally, they established Seabrokers Dolomiti to specialize in various aspects of the foundation field.
– Through Seabrokers Dolomiti, we do KC piling, horizontal drilling, rock reinforcement, and jet piling. We’ve received excellent feedback from our customers from day one. For us, Jetgrunn’s capacity and expertise is a great way to take our commitment a significant step further. With experienced operators and a well-equipped fleet, we now have increased capacity, making it easier for us to handle larger projects and simultaneous assignments, says Solvik-Olsen.
Jetgrunn will operate as a fully owned subsidiary Seabrokers Fundamentering, retaining both its employees and machinery.
– In short of time we will start our first project together with Jetgrunn to carry out foundation work with high complexity at Dronningens gate in Oslo. As part of Seabrokers Group, we are also involved in several potential projects in Norway and abroad.
