The vessels must be built in Brazil with minimum local content of 60%. Asgaard Navegação shall charter the vessels to Petrobras on eight-year plus eight-year option contracts. The total chartering contract is worth approximately USD 650 Million.

The vessels shall be built to meet the dedicated operations of Petrobras for general cargo carrying duties. The vessels shall have DP-2 station keeping, with a minimum deck area of 920m² and a deadweight of 4,500t. Operations with Petrobras are scheduled to commence at staggered intervals between May 2017 and April 2018.
