The local newspaper in Stavanger, Stavanger Aftenblad, arranges a yearly gingerbread house contest where people from the area can build houses and deliver them in to Aftenbladet. The houses are then placed together to form a large gingerbread house town. This year they sell houses to local companies, and all the money raised will go directly to a local project that helps addicts becoming drug-free. Seabrokers has bought one of the 200 houses, and encourages other companies to do the same.
