Dolo 1 UDK03, Drammen stasjon

Purpose

The UDK03 project is included in the improvement and

the expansion of Drammen station where both

platforms and railway tracks are to be re-laid. The

local conditions with operational railways,

Drammenselva and various installations in

the ground, makes the project very complex and divides it

up in several phases.

The main works for jet tracking are linked to

temporary footbridge over the river,

support structures for excavation, and

foundation reinforcement to the existing one

the station

Design

The jet piles are adapted to the various parts of the project

– Bridge foundation: Diameter of 1000mm incl

requirement of 7 MPa compressive strength is installed

with reinforcement pipe with Ø323mm

– Water sealing: in combination with sheet piles

Ø1200-2500mm jet piles installed

– Foundation reinforcement of existing ones

station construction was carried out with jet piles Ø1200-

2000mm

Execution

The project is still ongoing and only parts of it

the contract work is currently complete. lack of space,

proximity to 3rd parties and exposed environment, have set high demands

for logistics and execution. This applies to one page i

and great distance between rigging facilities and
