Ketil Solvik-Olsen steps down to travel to the USA to follow the American presidential election and its potential consequences for Norwegian interests. Linn H. Pollard will take over as Managing Director in the company, while Svein Kverme will continue his responsibilities as Operations Manager for our East office.

Linn H. Pollard currently serves as the department head at Seabrokers and has previously been the HR leader in the company. She has a background in the Armed Forces. Svein Kverme has over 30 years of experience in the foundation industry and has been instrumental in building Seabrokers Fundamentering into the solid national player it is today.

Chairman Ragnvald Albertsen is pleased that Linn and Svein will continue as Mangers, but notes he will miss Solvik-Olsen in the daily operations.

  • I want to thank Ketil for the work he has done at Seabrokers Fundamentering over the past three years. We have gone through an exciting expansion into new market segments, and I am glad that Ketil will still be associated with Seabrokers Group in some other roles.
  • Solvik-Olsen leaves behind a very strong professional team, and I am glad that Linn and Svein will lead Seabrokers Fundamentering safely forward. Our order book has increased significantly in recent months, and the autumn will be busy. We like that, says Albertsen.

Ketil Solvik-Olsen is grateful for the experiences he has gained at Seabrokers in particular and the construction industry in general. Now, an exciting autumn awaits in the USA.

  • I will miss the great team at Seabrokers – they are both professionally skilled and have fantastic camaraderie. The experiences I have gained from the industry are undoubtedly useful from a societal perspective – some things look a bit different when you are on the construction site compared to when you are sitting in a department. I will store that in my memory for future use.

Seabrokers Fundamentering has over time developed into one of the major Norwegian players in foundation work such as sheet piling, drilling, and piling. Over the past two years, the company has further strengthened its focus on energy wells, jet piling, and horizontal drilling and established the company Seabrokers Fundamentering Sjø. Seabrokers has its headquarters in Forus, and branch offices in Bamble, Oslo, Bergen, and Trondheim.
