Execution
The already established wharf of concrete cover was core drilled out for
new points. We used a Nemek 1130 drilling rig here, which is a 6
meter rig. Feed pipes of dimension 139mm were drilled down
minimum one meter down into good rock, and then under-drilled for rock footing.
Due to the steep mountain slope, we used a centric drilling system here for the best
as accurately as possible, and to get a good grip on the mountain.

The points were then included steel cores of ø90 and ø70mm respectively. Since these pipes are in
direct contact with seawater, buckling stiffeners were installed in it
the dimension 406mm. These were installed with a truck crane and an aerial plumb line
which ensured that the pipes were hammered firmly into the seabed. Since then these were
the pipes filled with concrete to prevent future corrosion of the bearing
steel piles.
