Execution
This work has been carried out in accordance with Norwegian Road Administration code 2
its standard (handbook) for this type of work. This implies
demands for greater accuracy and precision. In addition, a higher requirement for
documentation than when using the pile guidance and other projects.
We used a Nemek 510, which is a 3-meter drilling rig. We drilled
pressure piles with rock footings where all piles were also inclined. The holes remained
water loss measured and injected under pressure to stop any leaks.
It was drilled with 273 casing pipes in 3 meter lengths with a drill thrue
system so that you can drill further rock holes without pulling up the drill string to
switch over to mountain crown.
When all holes were sealed, we fitted ø200mm steel cores, welded
pressure caps and shuddered with approved mixes for this project.
A pressure test was also taken of cubes from the horror mass to ensure good quality
enough quality.
